Although I had to make slight modifications for style while transferring the content to this website, I made every effort to not touch the content itself. Ch 1 - The Medical Interview IN: Smith’s Patient Centered Interviewing
Also read Foreword – see glternative.
The Smith’s text references DocCom modules, and some of them are publicly available; most are subscription-only. I checked with Barbara Lewis regarding options, and they advised a 30-day access is available for 29.95 USD (as well as longer options). As patient communication seems like a high-yield topic for an IMG, I will consider buying this option but will check the free videos first. On the other hand, the Smith’s text is pretty straightforward, and Companion Videos are available (also see below about them), so unsure if DocCom would be a significant addition yet.
For TBL 1
Ch 2 - Data-Gathering and Empathy Skills IN: Smith’s Patient Centered Interviewing
For TBL 1
Also see high-yielding Companion Videos that are referenced throughout the Smith’s text (publicly available on the website as of Sep 4, 2021).
I have also found that the online Teaching Supplement is publicly available (as of Sep 4, 2021), that should probably be of use.
For TBL 1

Bates’ Visual Guide to Physical Examination
I checked individual subscription options in the Bates’ Visual User Guide, and they seem limited. Also, I checked the following public sample videos: Sample Bates Physical Examination Video and Sample OSCE Clinical Skills Video (all available as of Sep 4, 2021), and I don’t think I need them that desperately. I have a copy of Bates’ text (12th edition), and I think it will do.
